I am afraid that my current employer is using Tri-State Jobs and will see that I am looking for a job. How can I post my resume and remain anonymous ?

You can post your resume without any identifying information such as your name and phone number. A valid email address is all you need. If your email address contains identifying information, you can get a new one for FREE from email services like Hot Mail , Yahoo! Mail and Excite Mail

We would like to note however, that it is favorable to include all identifying information, if at all possible we strongly urge you to do so, as some employment professionals have indicated that they prefer to contact people with identifying information.

The maximum amount of characters in the resume should not exceed 6500 characters.  We suggest that you edit your resume and try resubmitting it. To find out what is the size of your resume you can open it in Microsoft Word then click on File->Property->Statistics. You will see an entry for the number of characters (with spaces). This is the size of your resume.

Why do I receive wrong SmartMails ?

Every SmartMail header includes an explanation as to why you received it. The following is an example of a header:

Tri-State Jobs has found the following match to your search request using the kywords: "programmer"
(SmartMail ID 3214816 keywords: "software engineer, programmer")

In the above example the user received this SmartMail because the keyword "programmer" appears somewhere in the job opening. You can also note that his SmartMail number is 3214816 and the SmartMail keywords are the phrase "software engineer" and "programmer".
